ERP


Asian Development Bank (ADB) has sanctioned a loan for $3M for HPSEB for its capacity building especially for the implementation of ERP under Clean Energy Development Investment Program. Govt of India (GoI) is the borrower and guarantor for this loan. HPPCL and HPSEB shall be Executing Agencies (EA) in respect of their respective projects

 ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

1. ERP implementation was initiated in 2010.
2. In Dec 2021 complete rollout was achieved for all segments and all offices of HPSEBL are now processing all business transactions through SAP-ERP
3. The SAP ERP has been made live in 530 offices of HPSEBL across the state.
4. Continuous improvement in the already developed business transactions is being carried out as per the requirement of HPSEBL.

 Achievements during 2023

a) Central Security Refund Utility: Ensuring a central, seamless and efficient mechanism for managing security refund processes for consumers
b) Budget Management Modules: Managing financial control and transparency within HPSEBL, ensuring meticulous management of resources.
c) End-to-End Processing of GPF Utility: Simplifying and automating process for withdrawal of General Provident Fund processes for employees
d) Pension Utility for Superannuation Cases: Introducing a automatic utility for pension-related processes, ensuring efficient & hassle-free generation of Pension Pay Orders (PPO No.) for retirees.
e) Transfer Posting Utility: Facilitating smooth and efficient transfer processes of employees within the organization
f) Utility for Arrear Calculation of HPSEBL Employees: Providing a reliable system for accurate arrear calculations
g) Centralized Processing of Salary for Employees: Ensuring a standardized and efficient salary processing system
