HPSEBL started the installation of total 1,51,740 No. Smart Meters in two towns of Himachal Pradesh i.e.1,18,581 No. in Shimla and 33,159 in Dharamshala. The installation was started during the mid of 2021. |

HPSEBL has appointed M/s PFC Consulting Ltd. as Project Development and Management Agency. M/s PFCCL on behalf of HPSEBL, has selected M/s L&T (now M/s Schneider Electric India Private Ltd.), as an Implementing Agency through the open tendering process. |

The electricity bills of consumers are being generated using the Smart Meters data. |
| d) |
The consumers are also provided with the Mobile App (HPSEBL -Smart Meter) for the real time monitoring of their consumption, events, etc. |
