Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission has framed Regulations for HP Electricity Ombudsman (Vidyut Lokayukta) in exercise of powers under Section 181, sub-section (2) (r) & (s) read with sub-section (6) & (7) of Section 42 of Electricity Act 2003.
The HP Electricity Ombudsman is located at Sharma Sadan, First Floor, Behind Keonthal Commercial Complex, Khalini, Shimla-171002. Any Consumer of Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited, who is aggrieved by non-redressal of his Grievances by the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF), not satisfied with the orders passed by the CGRF or is aggrieved by non-implementation of the CGRF orders may make a representation for the Redressal of his grievance to HP Electricity Ombudsman.
